Second Look Weekend, Class of 2013!

Congratulations to everyone admitted for the Class of 2013! We're very excited to see you for our Second Look Weekend, which is going to be from April 3rd-5th this year. The weekend will give you a chance to see more of the school, Cleveland, and most importantly, your future classmates! You can use this thread to ask questions about anything you want, or to plan travel arrangements or meetups with other students, or just to chat with your fellow Second Look attendees

The hotel should have internet access. There is also access on the Cleveland Clinic campus as well as all over the Case/CaseMed campus.

We are so excited to have you visit, and we're very excited to show you how much we love our school! There are many events you will be invited to and will attend. I wanted to make you aware of one in particular:

The 2nd Look weekend is April 3rd. We will have a FREE thingytail party for LGBT Lookers. It will be from 5-6:30 pm on Friday, April 3rd, at the Intercontinental Conference Center (9801 Carnegie). Please spread the word! I believe it will be in the Falcon Room on the 1st floor. It's sponsored in part by the Human Rights Campaign, so there's no skimping here!

Hey everyone. So I'm pretty sure the nearest RTA stop is pretty close to campus but very far from the hotel, so a cab is probably the best way to go. My plane is getting in just before 2 pm on Friday, so if anyone is planning on arriving around then and wants to share a cab (the ride from the airport to the hotel is $35), let me know - elias_jaffa[at]brown[dot]edu. Can't wait for another exciting weekend in Cleveland!!

There's an excellent art museum and botanical garden right near the med school (next to the undergrad campus) if you're interested in that kind of thing. Otherwise, the science center in the downtown area and rock and roll hall of fame are also great.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has free admission on Saturday for induction weekend so if you want to check it out in the short time you have in CLE, that may be a good time if you can slip away for a little bit.
