Hi - I'm not a medical student - but I work with many at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine!! (I'm the Associate Dean). We have a basic scientist - Dr. Peter Borgia - who is recuperating from major surgery at Case. He is in Building J 6-2 Room 22. He will be there by himself on Saturday, Sunday and Monday (September 4-6, 2010) Could you enterprising students find a way to pay him a visit throughout the weekend? I know you don't know him, and you don't know me.....but we would be forever grateful if you could pass this around to your fellow students. Dr. Borgia has taught in our Y2 PBL curriculum for a long time and is a fascinating guy - we are just hoping to make his 3 day alone time less depressing and lonely for him without his family. Please feel free to contact me if you would like even more information - but stopping by to visit Peter would definitely make his day!! Thanks!!! Deb Klamen MD, MHPE (dklamen@siumed.edu)
